Starting Off On the Right Foot...

So I left for SeaTac just past 5am this morning. We arrived around 6:30 and excitedly met my orientation guide, Prof. Youtz and the other students from PLU.

We had a 9am flight to Vancouver where we were planning on a couple hour layover and be off to Hong Kong by 1:50.

It is now 6:22pm (Pac. Time) and there is a Typhoon directly over HK. Our flight isn't expected to come in until 2am tomorrow morning AT THE EARLIEST!!!

This trip is starting off on the right foot...

At least I'm learning a lot about maple syrup and that Canada's economy is slowly overtaking ours. No biggie.

Bible verse of the Day:

Proverbs 25:14-16

14 Like clouds and wind without rain
is a man who boasts of gifts he does not give.

15 Through patience a ruler can be persuaded,
and a gentle tongue can break a bone.

16 If you find honey, eat just enough—
too much of it, and you will vomit
